Northdale Veterinary Practice
We have a dedicated operating theatre with separate areas for preparation and non-sterile procedures. Animals generally make better surgical patients than humans and modern anaesthetic techniques greatly reduce the risks involved. All animals are given a pre-anaestheitic check at admittance to keep anaesthetic risks to a minimum. Trained and dedicated nurses monitor the anaesthesia carefully during any surgical procedure. Most animals will also need to have food and water withheld from the evening before the procedure, a pre-op advice sheet will be given to you at the time of booking giving full details.
